Garfield Community Association (formerly WRD)

Meetings First Tuesday of Each Month

The Garfield Community Association is involved in projects such as town beautification projects, encouraging and enhancing town life and business.  They also plan the Town's annual May Day celebration and Christmas Starlight Parade.  Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM.  They could always us a few more volunteers, so please come on down and pitch in.

Garfield Parks and Recreation

Meetings Third Wednesday of Each Month 7 PM at the Community Center

Garfield Parks and Rec operates the Garfield Pool. 

The Garfield Parks and Rec Board meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Community Center.  Please feel free to attend.

Garfield Public Development Authority

The PDA is involved in residential and commercial development in the Town of Garfield. 

PDA Members are appointed by the Town Council.  Meetings are always open to the public and outside input is welcome.  Meetings are held as needed.  To get on their email list contact Daymon Marple, info above.

Ladow Grange

Meetings Third Thursday of Each Month 7 PM at the Grange Hall/American Legion Building

The Grange is America's oldest farm-based fraternal organization. It is a non-partisan, grassroots advocacy group for rural citizens with both legislative programs and community activities, scholarships, youth programs and camps, and much more.

The current Grange Master is Hollis Jamison.

Sponsors a monthly food give-a-way, a Farmer's Market, clothing give-away, plant sale and other community activities to support our scholarship fund.

Meets monthly at the Grange Hall/American Legion on East Main Street each third Thursday at 7 pm.
